In der Nacht vom 17. auf den 18. April 1996, im Alter von 27 Jahren verschwand der Sohn eines befreundeten Ehepaars spurlos. Sein Name ist Jens Päschke (auch Paeschke geschrieben). Jens wurde am 08.06.1968 in Dortmund geboren. Er ist 1,93 m groß und schlank, hat braune Augen und dunkelbraune Haare.
Ohne dass irgendein Vorzeichen darauf hin gedeutet hätte, verschwand Jens von heute auf morgen. Alle polizeilichen Ermittlungen waren ergebnislos. Die einzige sichere Information ist, dass Jens in den Norden der U.S.A. geflogen ist. Er könnte sich also dort oder in Canada aufhalten, aber natürlich auch überall sonst auf der Welt.
Können Sie sich vorstellen, wie furchtbar das für Eltern ist, wenn sie bei jedem Klingeln an der Haustür, bei jedem Telefonanruf, bei jedem Brief ohne Absender, bei jeder Nachricht über eine neue Mail daran denken, dass es vielleicht ihr Sohn ist.

Jens Päschke (also spelled "Paeschke") was born on June 8th, 1968 in Dortmund, Germany. He is 6 ft. 5" tall, slender and has short dark brown hair and brown eyes. In the night of April 17th, 1996 - at the age of 27 years - he disappeared without any trace. Until that time he was a student at the University of Dortmund/Germany. Jens speaks English fluently and could possibly be living outside Germany. He is a reliable, helpful, sensitive young man with a lovable character and a good sense of humour. WE URGENTLY ASK FOR ANYBODY´S HELP
Our only son, Jens Paeschke, a College student from Dortmund / Germany is missing since April 1996. We have done whatever one can do to find him without any success. With the help of American friends we finally learned that our son did enter the US at Chicago airport on April 18th, 1996 - one day after he had left Germany. We don’t know what his final destination was - all our efforts to locate him were in vain. That’s why we are trying to reach as many people as possible, hoping that someone might have seen Jens and can tell us his whereabouts.
We would be more than happy just to know he is alive and okay. Please forward this page to all your friends and relatives in the US and Canada - and everywhere in the world!
Here his description; Jens is pretty tall (6 ft 5”), slender with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. At present he is 35 years of age. Our son is a very honest, decent young man, reliable and sensitive, with a good sense of humor, loved by everybody. Jens likes down hill skiing, all kinds of watersports, biking, reading, art, music and cooking. Together with his friends in Germany he was member of a private medieval club, he also loved to play computer games. He speaks English fluently as he graduated from an American High School during his time as an exchange student in Michigan. Besides attending Dortmund University (his subjects were English and Maths) he always had various jobs where manual skills and intellectual abilities were required.
